Heart Party

Pretty Table

Candy Box Cupcakes

Sweetheart!

We really enjoyed Kaylee's Heart Party. She invited five friends and we asked them to wear something with hearts on it if they had it. Everyone that had something wore it with pride! Kaylee's dress is the one that I made her for Valentine's day. We made necklaces with heart beads, stacked conversation hearts, tossed conversation hearts into little targets and did a relay using paper hearts. Of course there were presents and cake too! We "hearted" the party!

Kaylee Turns 5!

Stacking the Gifts
We celebrated Kaylee's birthday after Easter dinner on Sunday. She was thrilled with all of her new gifts, many of which were clothes. We all laughed when she began stacking the presents and told her she would have to take a couple of trips.

We were WRONG!

Easter Sunday

Mommy and Kaylee
It was a great pleasure making this darling cherry dress for Kaylee. I selected the pattern and we chose the fabric together to go with some darling red patent leather sandals that we had fallen in love with. My sewing skills are improving and there wasn't anything I would have changed about how the dress turned out!
Jacob, Kaylee & Joel
What great kiddles we have! They all looked so cute in their red Easter clothes. I am thrilled that Joel takes such pride in dressing up and that he still enjoys it when he and Jacob match. This may be the last year where that is possible. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Today's Bargains

Last week I realized that I was getting carried away with all of my deals and had inadvertantly spent far too much of my grocery budget! Oops! I was having so much fun. :-) Anyway, it was time to be a bit more judicious. Today I had that opportunity. I was able to get all of this for $1.35...
-2 vitamin waters
-4 16 oz Darigold chocolate milks
-1 pkg Ronzoni pasta
-3 pkgs of Quaker mini rice cake snacks
