Monsters

Three of them. Yep. Two Lakeweed Monsters and one bona fide Sand Monster. These rare species were discovered in Central Oregon at East Lake.

Annual Photos

Every year we go to East Lake with several families. Here are two traditional photos that we enjoy taking every year.

The Summer Ends for a Teacher

This morning Steve headed back to school for his first paid day of the 2010-2011 school year. It is always hard to see him go. Last year this marked the beginning of my health's downward spiral, so I am admittedly a bit anxious. I know so much more about what I am dealing with and what to expect, but I am still nervous. The Lord is sweet to remind me that He is with me. He is my strength. He is my hope. All of that is true and I want to be faithful in letting it be true in my life.

News for a New Season

I want to take a minute for a brief update, with promises for more details, photos, and life coming soon. After many months of not being myself, in May I was finally diagnosed with severe Adrenal Fatigue in addition to anemia, hypothyroidism, and other hormone issues. I am on a long, slow road to recovery, but now I have HOPE! And hope does not disappoint. I am so thankful to be where I am at right now. That being said, I also have another major piece of interesting news to share. Steve and I have decided to educate our kids at home this year. Yep! Crazy, but exciting. We believe that the Lord has led us to this decision, so we look forward to all that He has in store for us in the coming months!

More later!
