Black and Blue

I just thought that since I am doing some catching up on my posts I should include this photo of Jacob's black eye. It happened in October, but I honestly can't remember how! It seems that he bumped into something or fell. Oh well, I am glad that it wasn't anything brain-searing or traumatic.

This past fall my parents invited Kaylee and her friend E. to come with them to a fancy pre-Christmas party. They bought her a new dress for the occasion and she looked just darling.

My Little Cook

Kaylee and I have been cooking together a couple of times per month. We call it "Cooking School." This was the first project that we did together which inspired us to continue cooking together on a regular basis. She is learning a lot and I love passing on my love of baking to her.
